The 289 V8 operates as a low-mileage, well-maintained car should. Interior is original and in exceptional condition. Paint was just wet sanded and polished and is beautiful. No indication of any accidents, damage or abuse. Today, this is an excellent Mustang with just 59,585 actual miles since new. The second owner used the car sparingly until 2014 and it is now being made available. Shortly before selling the car to the second owner in 2005, all of the mechanical systems were reconditioned, including: rebuilt brake system (new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses, backing plates, axle seals, etc.), fuel system (new gas tank, fuel pump, carburetor rebuild), Cooling system (including new radiator core, hoses, A/C service, etc.) new exhaust system (muffler, pipes and hangers), steering system (new slave cylinder), new engine mounts, complete tune-up, tires rebalanced, and more.
